Process

Upon receipt of your application, I will check the application form to make sure that all the information was correctly and completely filled in. If your application is in order, I will make my first visit to your web site to ensure that it is in order, and that it does not meet any disqualifying criteria. I will keep you posed accordingly.

My second visit will be carried out using Internet Explorer. I will be checking your web site using resolutions at 800x600 and 1024x768 pixels. I will start my review according to my award program's criteria. If your site does not meet any of my criteria, the review will be terminated and you will be notified accordingly.

The third visit to your site will be a lengthy process, as I will be checking your web site page by page. If everything is in order and above all, your site does not contain/promote or link to pornography, nudity, hatred etc... will signify that your web site has won one of our awards. At this stage, I will start scoring your web site. A minimum score of 69 points is required to win one of my awards. Award winners will be notified by e-mail with full instructions together with the web site review and award graphic/s.

I want to point out that there will also be a fourth visit to your web site. This is very important, as I will check that the award graphic/s are correctly displayed and in accordance to my instructions. I will also make use XENU*** to check that there are no internal or external broken links. I will also make occasional random visit to ensure that my award winners are properly displaying my award with a correct link back to my web site.

Depending on the number of applications received, a review will normally take something between 4 to 6 weeks to be completed. If you do not hear from me within 6 weeks, you may enquire to check whether your web site is still being evaluated, or whether it did not achieve our award at this moment in time. Remember that non-award winners may reapply after 60 days on the premise that new substantial improvements have been carried out on one's web site.
